Applesauce Granola

This applesauce granola uses applesauce to help bind the granola together.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped raw nuts
  • cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ stick unsalted butter melted
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup dried fruit I used dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Combine everything but the fruit in a large bowl. Transfer to a baking sheet. Bake at 275F for 55-60 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Mix in the dried fruit.
