Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 3 ½ ounces strawberry puree
  • ½ ounces lemon juice
  • lemon slices, salt, ice and sliced strawberries for serving
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Mix the tequila, strawberry puree and lemon juice.
  2. Prep your glass: run a lemon slice around the rim, and dip the wet rim into salt.
  3. Add a handful of ice and a lemon slice into the glass, then pour in the margarita. Add a few strawberry slices on top, then gently place a scoop of ice cream. Serve cold.

Recipe Notes

Want pink salt too? Grab a handful of freeze-dried strawberries (you can find these at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, etc) and grind them into a powder. Mix with the salt, then use to rim the glass per usual.
